At a young age, I had decided that I wanted to help save the lives of innocent animals by becoming a veterinarian. Over the years of preparing for that ultimate goal, I have volunteered, interned, and worked in various veterinary settings, including small animal, wildlife, and shelter medicine. Throughout these amazing experiences, I have had the opportunity to help hundreds of animals in a number of ways. During that time, I realized that you do not have to work in the veterinary field to make a difference in an animal’s life, as there are thousands of devoted volunteers, foster parents, and Fur Moms/Dads out there doing just that everyday. So today, while I continue to work at a local veterinary hospital, I also would like to contribute my time to helping homeless animals in need. I am hoping that through our network, we can educate others on preventative medicine, while assisting in finding loving homes for animals. Please join us as we try to achieve our end goal of decreasing the amount of animals in shelters, while creating more happy, healthy and furry homes in the world.
